Joy Chamberlain, Chief Executive Officer, Elysium Healthcare, said:

“This event has been a wonderful event to bring staff and service users together from across the majority of our sites. Many service users have taken part in ways they did not think they would – either during the planning process, submission process as well as impromptu involvement on the day.
“Such an event proves a great forum for communication, ideas and feedback; it has given us ideas on how to improve in some ways in relation to the theme of technology in recovery. It certainly will be the first of many such events for Elysium.”

Other feedback from the event from service users:

  • ‘It’s been a brilliant day’
  • ‘learning about all new things out there; ways of help out there’

Feedback from staff:

  • ‘Very good conference. Hands up for the service users who performed’
  • ‘Valuing service users contributions and efforts, comments and thoughts is what has made today so special’
  • ‘… The atmosphere and presentations have been very inspirational. Fantastic opportunity to celebrate service users and help them realise their potential’
