I have been practicing as a Psychotherapist for over 15 years accredited with BABCP (2017) and BACP (2011). I have lived and worked as a Psychotherapist in East Africa with my family from 2001-2014 but also facilitated various certificate and diploma programmes as well as CPD groups at Amani Counselling and Training Centre and Kenya Association for Professional Counsellors (KAPC) in Nairobi. I am also trained in Schema Therapy, working with more entrenched difficulties.
Areas of Interest:
OCD, BDD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression and general mental health difficulties.
OCD. I ran CBT workshops in Kenya twice yearly and gave regular supervision to the evolving CBT network in Kenya.

I am currently on a doctoral programme at Metanoia Institution on the Doctorate in Psychotherapy by Professional Studies DPsych(Prof). My research area is in Kenya and exploring the efficacy of CBT within the Kenyan culture.
