Potters Bar Clinic Appoints New CAMHS Medical Lead Dr Carolina Schneider

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Carolina Schneider as the new CAMHS Medical Lead for Potters Bar Clinic.

Dr Carolina Schneider has been at Potters Bar since December 2017, and has helped to create and shape the current service. She will now be part of the Senior Management Team and her clinical duties will remain primarily on Opal Ward.

For the past 20 years, Dr Schneider has been providing clinical care to young people and their families. She has a robust formation in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychopharmacology, and has engaged in clinical, pharmacological and epidemiological studies and research, obtaining most recently a PhD degree at King’s College London.

I have been working at Potters Bar Clinic since its beginnings in 2017 working towards building our current efficient and nationally well recognised LSU CAMH Service. I am proud of now being part of the Senior Management Team and I will ensure that my clinical and management duties continue to be focused on improving our service, treating and empowering each young person to live a safe and independent life and reaching their individual potential while making families and friends an active part in each young person’s recovery process’.
