02 Aug Save the Date! Badby Park Neurological Centre hosts its first Thought Leadership Event – Wednesday 26th September 2018
Elysium Neurological’s ethos is to share knowledge and expertise seeing it as fundamental to the continual advancement of neurological specialist care and rehabilitation and its power to provide a person centred quality of life for each and every resident or patient accessing one of Elysium’s services.
We are delighted therefore, to announce the first in an occasional series of thought leadership events for people working in neurological care where we focus on current research and best practice in relation to specific neurological illnesses. The event will take place at Badby Park Neurological Centre near Daventry, on Wednesday 26th September 2018 from 10am – 1pm.
This inaugural event will focus on Huntington’s disease (HD), specifically around current research and clinical trial results, best practice and HD accreditation for the provision of care for people with HD. The event will be CPD credited.
The key note speaker will be Professor Hugh Rickards MBChB, MMedSci, FRCPsych, MD who is a Consultant in Neuropsychiatry at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation NHS Trust which provides a service to the West Midlands Region. He is also an Honorary Professor of Neuropsychiatry at the University of Birmingham.
Following Professor Rickards’ talk and a couple of other small presentations, opportunities for networking will be available over a cuppa in a relaxed and informal setting.
