Clipstone House is a registered care service which embraces and balances the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect and choice. The service is for men and women living with learning disabilities, autism and sensory and communication impairments. We are specialists in working with complex needs and behaviours which may appear to challenge services.
The unique building design provides six single person apartments and communal spaces including, lounges, dining room, sensory spaces and laundry. Each apartment has its own lounge / diner, a bedroom with ensuite wet room and its own private garden.
The service is designed for those individuals who require a high level of support to live within a community setting and will continue to require this longer term. Individuals may be referred who are transitioning from hospital or children’s services, or where their community placement is no longer viable. The service aims to support people to return to their family or home area.
The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of Registered Manager, Nurses and Support Workers.
Our aim at Clipstone House is to encourage individuals to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently through a programme of active community engagement, developing meaningful social networks and developing robust coping strategies.
