‘Good’ Ofsted Rating for Brighton & Hove Clinic School

Elysium Children & Education are pleased to announce that Ofsted have rated the Brighton & Hove Clinic School as good across all categories. The Independent school opened in October 2018 and is registered with the Department for Education. It is an integral part of the care and treatment programme facilitated by the specialist eating disorder unit for young people at the Brighton & Hove Clinic.

Elysium Head of Education Rachel Hayward commented:

“This is a most pleasing result given that the school had only been operational for 12 weeks at the point of inspection. The inspector said “Pupils value their education and enjoy coming to school. They behave very well. Their attendance is excellent”. The good judgement reflects the hard work and dedication all members of staff have given to meet the learning needs of each pupil in order to continue their education whilst receiving treatment from the hospital.”
