We are delighted to announce that the eight, new, self-contained apartments at Field House, Alfreton are now open.
Field House Apartments consists of single and dual occupancy apartments that replicate a realistic community living environment. The apartments prepare women for community living through a programme of increased responsibilities, improving social networks, real work opportunities and continued targeted interventions that support a successful and sustainable discharge. Patients have their own kitchen diner, lounge and en-suite bedroom, and are encouraged to be responsible for maintaining their own living space.
Kelly Johnson – Ward, Hospital Director, said:
“We are thrilled to be in a position to open these much needed apartments. They complement the existing service at Field House and we are now able to offer a blended model of rehabilitation that combines a traditional rehabilitation environment with single and dual occupancy apartments, to provide a seamless care pathway for women. We will continue to provide intensive psychological input with specialist, evidence based interventions including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). We look forward to welcoming new patients!”
