Welcome to Crossley Manor School

Helping each student
find their own voice,
develop their own talents
and become a confident

Crossley Manor School is set in a six-acre site within the historic village of Rainhill, Merseyside. Its location provides easy access to and from the boroughs of St Helens, Halton and Warrington, along with various coastal regions and the vibrant cities of Liverpool and Manchester.

We offer educational provision for children and young people aged between five and nineteen who have been provided with an Education, Health and Care Plan by their local authority SEND Team. Where required, we also offer flexible residential care provision onsite for older students.

Students who come to Crossley Manor School have complex social communication needs, including autism, or they may have complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. They may also have other associated needs which impact on their learning, including some behaviours which challenge.

Our school is designed to effectively support all of our children and young people through a personalised approach to learning in a small and nurturing environment, expertly led by a highly skilled team of staff.

Headteacher’s Vision

I am delighted and excited to begin my role as the new Headteacher of Crossley Manor School. It is wonderful to see first-hand all of the positive aspects of this new provision and it is my aim to develop these areas in order to further strengthen our offer. I am committed to providing high quality opportunities which support all students to make progress with academic learning, social skills and emotional well-being, so that positive outcomes are achieved for all.

I am happy to take enquiries as well as listen to suggestions and feedback so please do not hesitate to get in touch with me via the school office for a discussion or to visit the school.

Mrs. Hayley Dorian
