Coronavirus, (COVID-19) Update

Elysium Healthcare are following guidance from the Government and devolved administrations.  England has now entered a second national lockdown as a result of an increase in COVID 19 infection in the wider community. Wales has now eased its firebreak restrictions but have introduced a new set of restrictions that effect services in Wales and those service users placed in Wales from England.

Families and Carers

Nothing is more important to us than the safety and wellbeing of your loved one.

During this period there may be times when we cannot respond as quickly as you would like us to. This is because we are prioritising the support of our staff to make sure the people we care for are kept safe.

Each of our services are working with the latest guidance on hygiene and infection control. We have provided information to the people we support and are communicating regularly with our staff teams via our dedicated Coronavirus update email address and our employee app.

To help contain the spread of the virus and keep the people we support safe, we are following the guidance issued by the government. This will mean that all visiting will have to be clinically approved, risk assessed and part of a person’s care plan.

Our priority in doing this is to put the welfare of those we care for and you as their family and carers at the forefront of everything we do.

We have been working in partnership with all national health bodies to make sure that the people we support and the staff who deliver care are kept safe. We have continuity plans in place for the organisation and each of our services. Our response team is led by our Chief Executive Officer, Executive Medical Director and our Group Director of Quality.
