As an Administrator, you will be able to utilise your exceptional administrative skills within a healthcare environment, contributing to a service that provides care and support to some of the most vulnerable people in society. You will be able to turn your hand to all admin related task at Aderyn Hospital, and will have a professional phone and email etiquette. 

You will work alongside the team, assisting and supporting the service with day-to-day administrative tasks which will see you assisting with HR related duties, such as recruitment, on-boarding and compliance maintenance. As an Administrator you must have exceptional administration skills, experience within a similar role and knowledge and/or passion of healthcare.

Role – Administrator 

Location – Penperlleni, Nr Pontypool, Monmouthshire

Salary – £18,200 + Benefits

Hours – 37.5, Full-Time 

Your responsibilities:

  • Undertaking all administrative tasks.
  • Managing e-mails and phone calls.
  • Being the key person in the department for coordinating all administration and data collection.
  • Competently providing admin support for the additional departments.
  • Undertaking any other tasks requested that are commensurate with the post.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Have GCSE’s, Grade C or above, in English and Maths.
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times.
  • Be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be able to prioritise duties and responsibilities, and be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Where you will be working

Location: Penperlleni, Nr Pontypool, Monmouthshire, Wales NP4 0AH

You will be working at Aderyn, a high-quality step down service for men with enduring mental health conditions that sets a sector-leading example of clear care pathways for service users with a focus on recovery. As well as a 17 bed rehabilitation unit, there is also a 2 bed open rehabilitation cottage.

The unit is situated in a picturesque part of Wales with good transport links. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide service users with opportunities to improve their independence and prepare for an independent life in the community. Individual and collaborative therapeutic timetables are developed for each patient and individual psychological therapies are offered.
